Dr. Luqman specializes in cerebrovascular disease and conditions of the brain and spine. This includes treatment of aneurysms, carotid artery disease and stroke. His expertise includes minimally invasive cranial and spine, skull base, neuroendovascular and endoscopic surgical techniques. Dr. Hofmeister graduated Michigan State University and received his medical degree from the University of Pikeville in Kentucky. He then completed internship at Detroit Medical Center, Wayne State University, in Internal Medicine followed by residency at Detroit Medical Center, Wayne State University, in Department of Anesthesiology, and finished with fellowship at Medical College of Wisconsin in Pain Medicine. He is board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
