Welcome to Michigan Head & Spine Institute Where Expertise Makes the Difference

At Michigan Head & Spine Institute, our physicians are experts in diagnosing and treating conditions related to the brain, neck and spine. Specializing in neurosurgery, and physical medicine & rehabilitation, MHSI provides an entire continuum of patient care — from noninvasive treatments to advanced surgical procedures.

When patients choose Michigan Head & Spine Institute for their treatment plan they’ll have several convenient locations to select from. During the first visit, a nurse will meet with the patient to gather information on their medical history and any treatment procedures they’ve had in the past. The patient is then taken to an examination room where they’ll discuss with their physician a specialized plan of treatment. At this stage, a diagnostic test (MRI, CT scan, or X-ray) is often prescribed, designed to help the physician determine the patient’s current condition. Throughout treatment, MHSI physicians and staff will also work with each patient’s primary doctor, as well as other specialists, to make sure they’re receiving the best appropriate care.
